The little brother to the Skrama 240 , the Skrama 200 is a slightly smaller heavy-duty bush knife – a tool that builds shelters, chops firewood, and fits a bit better on your belt than the 240. 

The only downside to the 200 compared to the 240 is the small reduction in leverage when swinging due to the smaller footprint. 

If you're taking just one knife into the bush, you can trust this thing will look after you, time and time again.

What you have to understand is that this is not an axe, nor a precision tool for fine work.

It is however, something in between.

Above all, It's a reliable and dependable companion.

A Rubber grip and Carbon Steel blade make this a no frills, hefty blade for hard work that can stand up to punishment.

While not pretty , it will develop its own beauty after being used , for what are scars but memories that have left their mark in time?

Care of a carbon steel blade

Carbon steel is easy to sharpen and maintain - you just have to remember to do it. If your knife gets wet in the bush, dry it the best you can. Never store the knife for long periods of time without drying and oiling the blade.

Cooking oils are fine for this purpose.

(Personally , I use lanolin spray - you get used to the sheep smell)
